Grant is the latest in the long list of authors to “label” different kinds of people. In his worldview, there are givers, takers and matchers. I am uncomfortable with labels, and fully expected him to make the case that there was one hero, one villain and one in the middle. I was delightfully surprised. Grant finds things to love about all three styles and makes the case that there are advantages and disadvantages to each. In the book, he uses supporting interviews to give rich examples of each style. He avoids the temptation to come off preachy, and makes his case well.
