Servant Leadership
David Thaeler, SVP of Human Resources of Haskell, America’s Design-Build Leader®, brings to the table twenty years HR experience, two master’s degrees, and a strong desire to create true leaders within the company culture. He is looking for a company of servant leaders who are moving from “what’s in it for me” to “what’s in it for us.”
As David leads the over 750 employees of Haskell toward this idea of servant leadership, Chip has been instrumental in bringing the hands-on direction to start moving the corporate culture through leadership development. Chip has even developed a handbook for the Haskell team in response to their enthusiasm for the concept. Working with Chip at Haskell for about a year now, David says, “I see people now talking more about “we” than “me” in corporate conversations.”
David has actually worked with and known Chip for over ten years from an association at his previous company. He trusts Chip and is impressed with his integrity and desire to make the best of the best in people. David even recently recommended that his nephew, a recent college grad, engage Chip as a business coach. “And that’s my family,” David says. “That’s a level of trust not given to just anyone.”
